ZAHLCO URBAN DEVELOPMENT

Living in the city, not an apartment.

Living in real life

Brand Video // Branding // Creative Direction

THE CHALLENGE

Selling apartments is easy.

Selling belonging is harder.

Zahlco wasn’t interested in showcasing square footage or polished amenities. They wanted to position their developments as extensions of Baltimore itself—real, textured, creative, and alive.

The challenge was to build emotional value around urban living.

Not real estate.

Real life.

THE APPROACH

The story is the city. One word kept coming up in the creative brief:

Real.

So instead of staging perfection, we chased authenticity.

Over 12 days, Percepto moved through Baltimore with a lean documentary-style setup—capturing over 300 moments across neighborhoods, coffee shops, art spaces, streets, and hidden corners.

The goal was simple:

Build a brand anthem through lived experience.

Not polished fantasy.

THE OUTCOME

The film became Zahlco’s flagship brand piece—used across campaigns, leasing materials, and brand touchpoints.

It resonated so strongly that the client called it:

“Baltimore’s anthem.”

And more importantly, it gave future tenants something bigger than an apartment:

A reason to belong.

“This is Baltimore’s anthem!”

“This came out great! Such a perfect representation of our city. This is Baltimore’s anthem! It’s inclusive and real with a little tourism and just fun to watch; the way it moves into each scene.”

Yonah Zahler // CEO Zahlco

THAT BMORE SPIRIT

Baltimore has a character all its own.

Rough around the edges. Honest. Creative.

This project was about bottling that spirit into motion—showing the city through the eyes of the people who actually live it.

Artists. Students. Workers. Dreamers.

The film became a love letter to the city itself.
